Mad Lavender Farm is open in September through October from 10am to 4pm Friday through Sunday.
Our first bloom of lavender is in June. The second bloom of lavender is not as vigorous as the first bloom in June, however, there is lavender in the field during August and September to pick for a fresh bouquet to take home.
You can visit our new Tiny Shop to take a bit of lavender home with you. We have lovely Lavender Bouquets cut from the first harvest and culinary buds, lavender soap, candles, bath salts, sachets, lavender water and honey from Tassot Apiaries.
Be sure to sample our lavender goodies: lavender shortbread cookies, lavender honey ice cream and dark chocolate lavender fudge. Our ice cream is locally sourced from our own eggs and lavender buds, our Tassot honey and Tanner’s dairy farm in Bucks county. It is all made in small batch by Chocolate in the Oven in Milford NJ.
You are welcome to bring your own picnic. We have a lovely meadow under the shade of some Walnut trees. Please take home whatever you bring onto the farm. Dogs are welcome as long as they are kept on a leash. Please double bag with plastic any “gifts” from from your pet.
Finally, if you need some “goat love”, we’ve got it! You may visit our Dwarf Nigerian Goats, ranging in age from 2 months to 1 year. For $5 a person we will escort you into the Goat Paddock to spend as much time as you like petting the goats. Children under 10 years old need to be accompanied by an adult. Our goats are bottle fed 4 times a day and are very friendly and curious.
