Yule is the night of the Winter Solstice, the longest night of the year. The Sun returns, born from the dark and nourishing womb of the Great Goddess. On this night we kindle the light of hope, for light is returning and with it, new life.
Join us at 6pm for a candle lit walk into the Lavender Labyrinth followed by a chant around the fire in the cauldron (weather permitting!).
We will then gather inside at the hearth to cast a magical circle. Everyone will have a turn at casting a circle. We will then invoke the Guardians of the Four Directions to bless our sacred space. Even if you have no previous experience, no worries: guidance will be provided.
Please bring a vegetarian snack to share. Simple is good. Homemade kombucha and hot spiced cider will be served. Dress warmly to walk the labyrinth.
