Turn found objects into a one-of-a-kind work of art in this hands-on wind chime or wall hanging workshop. Using vintage and upcycled treasures like cookie tins, teapots, colanders, beads, keys, crystals, silverware, and more, you’ll design and build your own whimsical piece from start to finish. Choose your base, pick your hanging materials, peruse a communal collection of trinkets, then assemble it all with guidance and access to our drill station.
More than just a craft project, this workshop is an invitation to slow down, work with your hands, and notice the beauty hidden in everyday objects.
No experience is needed— All supplies included. Just show up ready to create!
You will leave with a completed, one-of-a-kind upcycled wind chime made from vintage and found materials as well as a basic knowledge of how to select and combine materials, use simple drilling and assembly techniques, and continue creating similar projects at home using everyday objects and salvaged treasures. Take with you lots of inspiration, design ideas, and the confidence to turn overlooked items into functional art.
Long after the workshop is over, the soft sound of the chimes can serve as a reminder of the time spent creating, slowing down, and finding beauty in the mundane.
Bio: Chloe is a designer, artist, and creative entrepreneur whose work centers on finding beauty in everyday objects and helping others see familiar materials in a new way. With a background in graphic design, woodworking, and sculptural art, she brings both an artistic eye and a thoughtful, hands-on approach to making. She can’t wait to hang out with you and make some absolutely whimsical chimes.
