Fire Cider Etc

Get geared up for winter with an herbal medicine cabinet! During this workshop we will be discussing many kitchen herbs, spices and roots that work as herbal allies to strengthen your immune and respiratory systems to assist your body’s natural ability to ward off colds and flu. You will gain knowledge of how to work with plant medicine to relieve symptoms of cough, sore throat, earache and congestion. Together we will craft a fire cider and participate in a demo for making elderberry syrup.
You will leave with 4 oz of elderberry syrup and 12oz fire cider. Your Elderberry Syrup is ready for consumption. Your Fire Cider will need to infuse on your shelf and will be ready just as the winter season sets in.

Herbal tea and cookies will be served.

Join Rosemary, Lavender, Sumac and Pine for a fun-filled exploration of Fall inspired Botanical Mocktails.

During this workshop you will mix three different herbal mocktails using tea infusions, glycerites, syrups and shrubs. As we sip, we will discuss how to use these methods at home. Then tickle your palette with a variety of seasonal pesto and herbal butters served on crackers, all recipes provided.
We will be taking a farm harvesting walk to identify the herbs used in my recipes and you will leave this class with some plant material, instructions and recipes to continue creating mocktails at home.
If you enjoyed our Summer Mocktail workshop, join us again as we will be working with all new recipes and plants.
