PlantMedicineMaking

This workshop is an introduction to the basics of plant medicine making with local herbalist April Morecraft. Together we will explore how to make topical and internal preparations. We will discuss tinctures, infused vinegars, infusions, decoctions, syrups, infused oils, salves, compresses, poultices, and flower essences. During this workshop we will discuss respectful harvesting practices and how to commune and build relationships with plants.

You will receive step by step instructions on how to make a salve and leave with your own hand poured first aid salve. April provides printed material and it is also a good idea to bring a notebook to take notes!

April Morecraft is a mother, teacher, gardener, and creator of Oak Root Herbals, a home based, small batch herb business.
