In this workshop, taught by artist & woodworker Cindee Straube, you will have the opportunity to custom paint your own birdhouse. You’ll be learning various stenciling and painting techniques using an array of stencil patterns to decorate your bird house. Everything you need is supplied: a pre-made wood birdhouse, a selection of exterior acrylic paints, brushes, stencils as well as expert guidance.
Your birdhouse can be painted any color and there will be hundreds of stencils to choose from.
All materials provided; birdhouses, hooks, wires, paints; brushes and mocks.
Spend a lovely day on Mad Lavender Farm and take home a hand crafted custom birdhouse – made by you!
Please bring a picnic lunch to enjoy in the garden during your break.
Cindee is a self made woodworker and crafter who has made art since she was a little girl.
A child at heart, she taught students kindergarten through 2nd grade for 32 years.
An avid bird watcher, gardener and wood crafter, Cindee especially loves making bird and butterfly houses and sharing her passion with others.
